Ponce City Market in Historic Old Fourth Ward is Upon Us!

Quite possibly the most exciting thing going on in intown Atlanta right now…besides the Beltline…is the birth of Ponce City Market in the renovated Sears, Roebuck & Company building on Ponce de Leon in the Old Fourth Ward. Everything is built around a food hall in the central market place which will be a gathering place for culinary shopping and all kinds of different dining experiences from coffee to date night dinners. Retail shopping as well as office space for businesses will also be housed within this bohemoth not to mention loft apartments which are all but spoken for as far as I can tell. Let’s talk food…I am so excited to one day be able to hop on the Beltline in my neighborhood of Grant Park, burn some calories on my bike on the way to PCM and then indulge on what seems to be a growing cultural mix of restaurants being added the list. Here is what they have confirmed so far: Dancing Goats Coffee Bar, Dub’s Fish Camp, H&F Burger, Honeysuckle Gelato, Indian Streetfood by Chai Pani, Jia Authentic Szechuan, Juice Box and Simply Seoul Kitchen. Several businesses are locked in as well consisting of AthenaHealth, Cardlytics which does marketing, Jamestown Investment & Management Co, Mailchimp and SBC&H Architects. Not a bad start and I have a feeling the list will continue to grow quickly as things continue to move forward with the renovations. The Suzuki School which is a preparatory school for kids 3 months to 5 years of age will also plant a campus on site to really diversify what is becoming a true...

Hiring a buyers agent to work with beltline clients

This whole beltline thing is really happening and you would not believe the excitement and momentum of intown Atlanta residents and everything having to do with the Atlanta beltline. Our listing service actually even added the term close to the beltline in listings so that consumers can be able to choose that option if the website they are on allows for that choice of amenities. Here at eXp realty we realize the importance of knowledge and expertise in a specific area and am looking for a specific agent to be focused on beltline communities and information. We feel like this best suits the consumer looking for homes that could possibly be on the Westside or Eastside depending on their choice of accessibility to the beltline and price of real estate. If you are a real estate agent looking to join a local team and grow your business selling homes around the Atlanta beltline including single-family and condominiums then reach out to us, I would be glad to tell you more about the position and what our company has to offer. Here is our current add to learn more about this...

ATL’s Grant Park from a Resident Realtor’s Perspective

Let’s start with a neighborhood that I know very well, Grant Park. I moved her in the spring of 2010 without knowing too much about what the area had to offer. I was lucky enough to find a duplex on Cherokee Avenue through a friend, walking distance to about 25 shops, restaurants and other amenities. I had never lived like this…walking to dinner and the park and leaving the car parked once I got home each day from showing property etc. It changed my life and my wife and I just put down firm roots in the nieghborhood by purchasing a home just off of the park itself. Our church is walking distance as is the Grant Park Farmers Market, and we have Zoo Atlanta, tennis courts and a huge swimming pool just out the front door. We know all of our neigbors and have really made a commitment to the neighborhood by joining the Grant Park Neighborhood Association. We love it here and the growth happening before our eyes shows that things continue to trend in a positive direction. First off the Beltline of course. The southeast border of Grant Park is the Beltline itself and we can not wait to bike down the street and hop on the new intown thoroughfare and zip over to the new Krog Street Market and Piedmont Park. It’s really changing the way we look at our work commutes and our options for exercise and traveling from one cool neighborhood to the other. Just a few years ago, the Jane was not even there and now it is home to businesses and...
