Year end update on Dunwoody Condos

Areas like Buckhead and Midtown in Atlanta are known for some of the most luxurious and unique condominium complexes in Atlanta, but Dunwoody is making strides in some pretty cool products. There are currently a couple new killer townhome communities that are coming available and once you see how awesome the views and amenities are at buildings like the Manhattan you’ll be sold on what Dunwoody has to offer from a condo standpoint. One other nice aspect to the majority of Dunwoody condos is they are in walking distance to places like perimeter mall and the dunwoody Village which include lots of shops and restaurants. Ashworth is one of the best townhome communities in walking distance to the famous Dunwoody Village. This is a gated community with multiple access points out to make merging into famous Dunwoody traffic easier. As of December 1 there are over 116 choices of Dunwoody condos for sale. These range from just under 600,000 to properties under 75 K. Yes, you read that right, in the technical area of 121 which is the FMLS area for Dunwoody there are multiple MLS listed condo properties available under $75,000. Westover Plantation Townhomes

Westover Plantation Townhomes If you are looking for a centrally located townhome community that offers plenty of green space to get out and enjoy Atlanta’s mild weather, well kept grounds and amenities and homes that are well constructed; you should check out Westover Plantation. It is located off of Defoor’s Ferry in between the Moore’s Mill and Howell Mill exits off of I-75. Glen Iris Lofts Glen Iris Lofts is located across from upcoming $437 million Ponce Park development and walking distance to Whole Foods, Freedom Park, and Piedmont Park. These lofts are off Glen Iris Drive between Ponce de Leon Ave and North Ave. Glen Iris Lofts is one of my favorite loft buildings. It is one of the first loft buildings in Atlanta. There are two buildings. One of the buildings is a true conversion with another building that looks like authentic. With Glen Iris Lofts being so close to the new development, Midtown, Virginia Highland, Downtown, I-75, I-85, and more, these lofts are worth viewing. Each Glen Iris Loft boasts of gorgeous hardwood and concrete floors, exposed ductwork, exposed brick wall, and lots of natural light from the windows. This loft community has several floorplans offering functional rooms, very open feel, and ample space. The kitchen has granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and good cabinet space. The Aramore If you are looking for an alternative to the typical condominium building allow me to introduce you to The Aramore. Built in 2002 and 2003 with great attention to detail this is a unique product by an Atlanta developer that allowed the buyers to customize their interior space right down to the knobs on their custom cabinets. The Aramore offers approximately 24 different floor plans, so no matter what size space you are looking for you have a great chance at finding it here. Studios up to 2 bed 2 baths with a study. This week’s installment focuses on affordable and convenient Buckhead condo life. It’s an area where lots of us would like to live because of proximity to work or maybe all of the restaurants and shopping Buckhead has to offer. True there are lots of nice, expensive condos available to those in a certain income bracket, however there are other options for living in Buckhead which allow you to enjoy the same perks of the area. Buckhead Square is a new conversion in 2005 that offers hardwoods, granite countertops and stainless appliances for those looking for a modern feel. HOA’s tend to be around $150 per month which is great for Atlanta, and all units have new washer and dryer. Units are available from $150,000 and below, so definitely take a look at these condos. Another great location for Buckhead living can be found just up Piedmont from Peachtree at Habersham of Buckhead. Condos are available below $150,000, and the property has a pool and fitness center for your enjoyment. HOA’s are usually around 200 and below, still great for Atlanta, and the location has easy access to 85, 400 and 285. Moving to a slightly different location off of Sydney Marcus, Lenox Villas sits atop the hill providing some nice views if you find the right unit. Condos are available below $150,000, and HOA’s are holding steady around $200 per month. 85 is right out your front door for easy Downtown access, and Lenox Mall is right up the street.
