Things To Do This Month on the Beltline

Things To Do This Month on the Beltline

Moving into the city of Atlanta is something that many people are looking to do this year. I have a list of my 3 favorite activities that may make a Beltline purchase look even more attractive. 1. The Old 4th Ward Skate Park-if you like to bring out your skate board or just people watch this is a fun place to be. With a built in skate ramp, a playground and an open field for baseball/soccer, you and the family will have plenty to do here on any given day of the week. 2. Dining on Edgewood Ave-With so many new restaurants, bars and pizza joints lined up on Edgewood Ave, you won’t have to go far to satisfy your pallet. Just take a stroll down Edgewood and end up in a nice booth for some good eats. 3. Riding the New Beltline Streetcar-If you are looking to sight-see on a Saturday afternoon, then I would definitely recommend taking this tour on the 22 mile Beltline ride. You can even hop off at Jackson and Auburn Ave to take a free tour of the King Memorial Site. These are my 3 favorite things to do but you can always explore the area for yourself by walking the Beltline and finding your favorites. Hiring a buyers agent to work with beltline clients

This whole beltline thing is really happening and you would not believe the excitement and momentum of intown Atlanta residents and everything having to do with the Atlanta beltline. Our listing service actually even added the term close to the beltline in listings so that consumers can be able to choose that option if the website they are on allows for that choice of amenities. Here at eXp realty we realize the importance of knowledge and expertise in a specific area and am looking for a specific agent to be focused on beltline communities and information. We feel like this best suits the consumer looking for homes that could possibly be on the Westside or Eastside depending on their choice of accessibility to the beltline and price of real estate. If you are a real estate agent looking to join a local team and grow your business selling homes around the Atlanta beltline including single-family and condominiums then reach out to us, I would be glad to tell you more about the position and what our company has to offer. Here is our current add to learn more about this...

Brad Nevin’s – Financing 101

Financing 101 This week I am going to shift gears from specific buildings and areas in Atlanta to something a lot of people neglect until they are ready to start looking at inventory…your credit and obtaining financing for your purchase. There’s nothing worse than falling in love with a new home or condo, telling your agent that you want to make an offer on it and then hitting a brick wall. By contacting a Lender as soon as you start thinking about making a purchase, especially your FIRST purchase, this scenario can be avoided. I highly recommend that everyone be aware of their credit score and what can be done to improve it, even if it is already in good shape. By sitting down with your Lender and allowing him / her to gather information about your current income and assets, any necessary clean-up can start immediately. You can find out about the different types of loans and which ones might apply to you specifically. This process is not going to hurt your credit score…a home purchase is a positive thing that will add to your assets and build equity at the same time. You should also discuss how much you feel comfortable spending per month on a mortgage payment, and in the case of a condo, loft or town home, how much of that can comfortably go towards your HOA fees. This knowledge is so important when you and your real estate agent begin searching for homes, and will prevent wasting time on unattainable properties. Through successful real estate transactions, I have formed solid relationships with several Atlanta...
