Homes and Condos near Ponce City Market

Homes and Condos near Ponce City Market

The Ponce City Market also known as PCM is now open as of September 22, 2014. This is the hottest, new main attraction for Beltline lovers and for those looking to move into the neighborhood. Since there are new listings popping up within walking distance of the Ponce De Leon Ave. location, homes do not sit on the market very long and with good reason. If you are looking to buy and prefer this area, the time is now to get with an agent who specializes in this neighborhood because properties are selling like hotcakes. So what are you looking for, craftsman style, new construction, loft, townhome or a mid-century build that has been renovated? The immediate neighborhoods surrounding Ponce City Market surprisingly offers all of these types of homes and much more. Inman Park and Old 4th Ward are not short of any housing type these days and most people who are looking enjoy having a selection of housing choices before signing on the dotted line. With average starting prices in the mid $200’s, you can still find a great deal in the area that you love. I primarily sell in this market and would love to help you on your new home search, so if you would like a consultation, have questions about the area or what is currently available on the market, contact Pauline Bowman, Beltline Specialist with eXp Realty at 678-682-1221 or...
5 Reasons to Move to Inman Park Neighborhood

5 Reasons to Move to Inman Park Neighborhood

Inman Park is considered the oldest suburban neighborhood in the city of Atlanta. With a wide variety of homes styles from huge Victorians to cozy bungalows, Inman Park is definitely attractive to homebuyers looking for a move into the city of Atlanta. Being one of the prestigious neighborhoods located on the Beltline, Inman Park will truly have a lot to offer to the new home buyer. Here are 5 Reasons a move to Inman Park will interest you: 1.Parks- Inman Park is heavily populated with parks through the neighborhood. From Large ones like Piedmont Park to dainty ones like Springvale Park, you will be sure to find something to do on a nice Saturday afternoon. Parks are great for walking the dog or taking the kids out to the playground. 2.Social Events- Inman Park has tons of events taking place throughout the year including its own Inman Park Festival. As a resident, after a long day of work, you could take a quick walk to Highland Ave for tapas and cocktails at Barcelona or to Masquerade for a night out on the town. 3.Schools- Inman Park has some great schools for ages K through 12. Whether you are interested in public or private education, you will be able to choose from multiple schools in the immediate area that can suit you educational needs for the family. 4. 3 New Townhome Communities Available Intown Atlanta

3 New Townhome Communities Available Intown Atlanta

Over the past few months 3 new townhome communities have emerged in the heart of some of Atlanta’s most sought after neighborhoods. Let’s take a look at the top three:     1. IPV also known as Inman Park Village were built in 2013 and are located in the wonderful neighborhood of Inman Park. These townhomes are the true definition of luxury. With custom kitchens, hardwood flooring and tray ceilings throughout, it is truly a place that anyone would love to call home.           2. Axis Townhomes, nestled in the Candler Park area, these townhomes are new for 2014. These homes feature a very modern and chic look with private garages attached. If you are looking for a new construction in a historic neighborhood then I recommend Axis Townhomes as a top choice.                 3. Highland Park which is conveniently located on Highland Ave across from Highland Bakery and just steps away from shopping and eateries on Highland Ave. These townhomes are a favorite mainly because of the prime location on the border of Old 4th Ward and Inman Park. Highland Park also feature many perks inside like spacious tri level floorplans and many upgrades throughout.           Although these are my top 3 townhomes, there are many other options available if you are interested in a townhome community located Intown Atlanta. If you have questions regarding any listings that are available or a purchase price for a home in these neighborhoods please call Pauline Bowman, Beltline Specialist with eXp Realty at 678.682.1221 or...

My 5 Favorite things about Cabbagetown

Cabbagetown is a small funky neighborhood located on the east side of town. It was built as a mill town around the Fulton Bag and Cotton Mill which opened in 1881. You will find lots of shotgun houses and small cottages and new construction infill in the neighborhood. This is a close-knit community with a rich history stemming from the Appalachian Mountain folk who worked in the Cotton Mill. My favorite things about Cabbagetown: Chomp and Stomp – Cabbagetown’s annual bluegrass festival and chili cookoff takes place early in November every year. The festival kicks off with a 5k race called the Romp and Stomp. The neighbors really turn out to show their support lining the streets with coffee (and often beers) in hand to cheer on the runners and welcome them to the neighborhood. Some folks even show up with their guitars. This is one of my favorite 5ks of the year and my absolute favorite t-shirt. Krog Street Tunnel – The Krog Street Tunnel connects Cabbagetown to neighboring Inman Park. It is also canvas to the best street art (or graffiti if you aren’t a fan) in the city. Check it out here: http://thedailykrog.tumblr.com/ Carrol Street – Carrol Street Cafe, Village Pizza, Milltown Arms Tavern and Little’s Food Store. I can’t think of a negative thing to say about any of these places. Go there now. Eat good food. Meet cool people. Cabbagetown Park – Smack dab in the middle of the neighborhood is this lovely 3.5 acre greenspace with an awesome playground, plenty of seating, cool sculptures and a gorgeous oak tree…wooden swing and all. We have listed and sold plenty of lofts in the Arizona building and our firm actually have the highest price sold for the year.
