Flurry of New Condos Set For Cobb Galleria Area,

One Vinings Mountian renderingThe Business Chronicle reported last week on several new projects in and around the Cobb Galleria this last week.  So I thought a run down of these projects might be in order.

Park Vinings

$200 million, 35-story, 110-unit condo project in the third quarter of 2007. Prices will start at 1 Million and range to 12 Million.  Click Here for Park Vinings Website

Overton Park Phase II

Overton Park is a 34-acre, master-planned, mixed-use community at Cumberland Boulevard and Interstate 75. The Second Phase will have a mid-rise 60-unit condo building, a $30 million, 160-room “business-level” hotel and retail space, will be on 3.5 acres adjacent to One Overton Park, a 15-story, 400,000-square-foot class A office building.

The condos have not been named and will be priced between $350,000 and $600,000 according to the Business Chronicle.

The Aberdeen in Vinings, a 12-story 66-unit project with prices ranging in the $900,000s to $2 million will cost Taz Anderson Realty 76 million to build. Click here for their website.


Horizon at Wildwood, will cost Wood Partners in the range of $65 million to build and will have 282-units.  Penthouses have sold for more than $1 million.  Click Here for their website

Wood Parters is also planing Vinings Main which will be a partnership with The Columns Group to tear down an existing Apartment Building behind the Racetrack gas station right as you cross the train tracks in downtown Vinings.  Vinings Main will consist of Office/Retail along with townhouses with rooftop terraces.  More to come on Vinings Main once the project is announced….
